These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SafeHome Partners, operated by SafeHome Partners, LLC ("SafeHome Partners," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
SafeHome Partners provides AI-generated home safety assessments — covering aging in place, child safety, and accessibility — and a platform connecting homeowners with independent contractors and Aging-in-Place Specialists ("Providers") for home modification work. We are a technology platform, not a contractor, and we do not perform home modification work ourselves.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you register — it's what your assessment and report are built on.
Your report is generated by AI based on the information and, where applicable, scan data you provide. It's intended as a planning tool to help you understand potential risks and prioritize modifications — it is not a substitute for an in-person inspection by a licensed professional where one is legally required, and it is not an engineering, code-compliance, or structural certification. We work to make reports accurate and useful, but we don't guarantee that every recommendation applies to your specific situation or that following them will prevent an accident or injury.
Providers in our network are independent businesses, not SafeHome Partners employees, agents, or joint venturers. We may display license, insurance, or certification information a Provider has submitted, but we do not independently verify every credential, supervise their work, or guarantee its quality, timeliness, or cost. Any agreement you reach with a Provider for home modification work is between you and that Provider. We encourage you to independently verify licensing and insurance before hiring anyone.
Assessment fees and contractor subscription fees are processed securely through Stripe. Current pricing is shown at checkout. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@safehomepartners.com and we'll review it — refunds, where granted, are issued at our discretion based on the circumstances. Providers receive payouts through Stripe Connect under separate Stripe terms they agree to when connecting their account.
Don't use SafeHome Partners to submit false information, impersonate someone else, harass another user or Provider, attempt to bypass our security, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
SafeHome Partners' name, branding, and the site itself are our property. Your report is generated for your personal use in planning home modifications; you're welcome to share it with contractors, family members, or anyone helping you with the project.
SafeHome Partners is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, express or implied, and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including damages related to Provider work performed off-platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You can stop using SafeHome Partners and request account deletion at any time by emailing support@safehomepartners.com. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
