Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
SafeHome Partners, LLC ("SafeHome Partners," "we," "us," or "our") provides AI-powered home safety assessments and connects homeowners with independent contractors and Aging-in-Place specialists. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Client information: home address, phone number, emergency contact details, and any notes you add to your profile or assessment.
- Contractor and specialist information: business name, phone number, service area, license number, insurance documentation, and (where applicable) CAPS certification documentation. We use this to verify eligibility to join our contractor network.
- Assessment information: answers to our guided questionnaire, photos, and — if you choose a scan-assisted assessment — a 2D floor plan generated by our scanning partner, CubiCasa.
- Payment information: assessment and subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles that in accordance with its own security standards.
- Communications: messages you send through our support chat, support tickets, or email, including messages exchanged between clients and contractors through the platform.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited and general site interactions, collected through Vercel Analytics.
- Advertising data: if you arrive from a Google Ads campaign, we record a conversion event when you complete a paid assessment, using Google's advertising tag.
- Attribution cookies: if you arrive via a referral link, a contractor's microsite, or a marketing campaign, we store a short-lived cookie identifying that source so we can attribute the referral correctly. These cookies do not affect pricing unless explicitly tied to a promotional code.
2. How We Use AI
SafeHome Partners uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate your assessment questionnaire, your personalized risk report and modification plan, and to help draft responses in our support chat. Your assessment answers and (where applicable) scan data are sent to Anthropic for this processing. AI-generated reports are based on the information you provide and are intended as a planning tool — not a substitute for an in-person professional inspection where one is required.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service:
- With contractors or specialists you choose to request a quote from or message, so they can respond to your request.
- With service providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Stripe (payments and contractor payouts), CubiCasa (floor plan scanning), SendGrid (transactional email), Anthropic (AI processing described above), and Vercel (hosting and analytics).
- For legal reasons, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SafeHome Partners, our users, or the public.
4. Children's Privacy
Our Child Safety assessment is designed for a parent or guardian to complete on behalf of a child — it is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us at support@safehomepartners.com and we will remove it.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- Access or correction: you can update most account and profile information directly in your dashboard.
- Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@safehomepartners.com. We'll confirm once it's complete, subject to records we're required to retain (e.g., payment records for tax purposes).
- Marketing emails: any marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails related to your account or an active assessment are not optional while your account is active.
- California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion. Contact us to exercise these rights.
6. Data Retention and Security
We retain account and assessment data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, database-level access controls, and row-level security — to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active users.
